Material definition and assignment
The RM-Default database contain predefined materials that may be transferred to the RM-project. Materials may be defined directly in the RM-project too.
RM Modeler handles only the material assignment. The material values have not to be defined here. For the selection of materials of beams and attribute sets a list of available materials of the RM-Default database will be offered.
RM-Default database
This database is situated in the program directory and can be loaded both by RM Bridge and RM Modeler (s. menu File).
Export of materials to the RM-project
If the material exists already in the project, this material will not be changed. Only the assignments will be transferred.
If the material does not exist in the project, the program tries to take over the material with the specified name from the RM-Default database to the project. But if this material also does not exist there, a new material will be created in the RM- project, where its values have to be defined later by the user.
